Ambassadors since 1867’s range of products was designed with respect for the classical Southern European tradition according to which a light and classic pyjamas is an absolute must in any wardrobe mixed with the Scandinavian style of chaste and minimalistic cut. History
Ambassador is a Danish family-owned men’s homewear company, established in 1867. With our proud heritage and long history we have supplied our collections to the finest shops in Denmark. You feel a suppleness and flattering charm to your body while wearing our natural and masterly cut garments. Ambassador is manufactured by the finest fabrics and by highly skillful and educated employees, to ensure you a perfect garment night after night. All garments are produced on approved factories with certificates, setting high standards for employees and environment.
After 147 years we are still making some of the pyjamas’ from the same pattern recipe with the strict rules for layout of the pattern, the cut, the measurements and finishing. Even if the production has had it’s high and lows, we never stopped focusing on homewear for men. And to this day, the Ambassador pyjama is the core of our entire production of homewear.
The present owner is Christian Melchior, who now serves 3rd generation retail customers.
